Therapy

I offer talking therapy sessions to both adults and young people (16 upwards) in relation to various areas including:

  • Pre- diagnostic support (for example, deciding if a neurodiversity assessment is indicated, considering implications, deciding whether to explore initial screening or assessment or not). This relates predominantly to those considering ADHD and/or ASD assessments.

  • Post- diagnostic support (for example, exploring and adjusting to the outcome, specific areas such as workplace or school adjustments (including EHCP support), mental and emotional wellbeing, managing overwhelm, relationship or family issues - this list is not exhaustive)

  • Mental health support, for neurotypical or neurodiverse people in relation to various difficulties including depression/ low mood, anxiety, stress, impact of difficult experiences, coping with burnout. This may also include liaising with schools or workplaces if applicable.

  • General difficulties coping and exploring what might be underpinning this from a psychological perspective, without necessarily seeking a diagnosis.

  • Work with individuals, couples and some family work.

I offer a flexible and inclusive style and offer a variety of frequencies (for example, from one session per week to one per month depending on the issue), length (from a one off consultation to long term therapy) and using a variety of eclectic and integrative models including aspects of Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), behavioural approaches, systemic work, person-centred and solution focused therapy.

The majority of sessions are offered remotely. Please let me know if you prefer face to face as I have a small number of slots available for this.

I am registered with AXA PPP insurance.

Please contact me in relation to your specific needs and for details including available slots and pricing.
